Guy Wiltshear is the firm’s senior and managing partner, having practised as a solicitor for 30 years. He has a varied background, training in a large firm in London’s West End, before building experience in Hertfordshire and Cambridge. He first became a partner in 1986 in the Bury St. Edmunds firm of Bankes Ashton, then re-established the firm of Haywards in Stowmarket in 1992. He has been senior partner ever since. Having during his career practised in the fields of criminal, family, personal injury and general civil litigation, he now specialises in particular in probate and associated matters.

John Cox has been a solicitor for 33 years and has a wealth of knowledge of the local area, having practised primarily in East Anglia and North Essex. At the start of 2001 he joined Haywards where he specialises in residential and commercial conveyancing, wills, probate and private client work. He has spent time as a Coroner’s Clerk and has served on the council of the area Law Society for Suffolk and North Essex.

Louise Goodenough graduated with a BA (Hons) Business Studies degree in 1998. Following a spell working in marketing, Louise commenced her legal career in 2002 completing the first part of her Institute of Legal Executives (ILEX) examinations while working full time for a firm of Solicitors in Bury St.Edmunds. Louise joined Haywards in 2004 and became a member of the Institute of Legal Executives in October 2006. Louise works within the Wills and Probate law fields to include work involved with Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection, and associated matters.
